We aggregate listings from thousands of company career pages and applicant tracking systems, then analyze every position for tech stack, salary, remote policy, and seniority to produce actionable market insights.

Our Mission

The software engineering job market is vast and fragmented. Listings are scattered across dozens of platforms, each with different formats and incomplete data. Salary information is rarely standardized. Remote policies are vague. Technology requirements vary wildly in how they are described. Making informed career decisions requires seeing the full picture, not just individual listings.

We built findjobs.dev to bring clarity to this market. We aggregate every relevant listing into a single index, then analyze each one to extract structured data: salary ranges, remote policies, tech stacks, seniority levels, and industry classifications. The result is a comprehensive, searchable dataset that powers our market research reports, salary guides, and hiring trend analysis. Our goal is to give engineers the information they need to make better career decisions.

How It Works

Every listing on FJ goes through a three-stage pipeline before it appears in search results:

Aggregate

We collect job listings directly from company career pages and applicant tracking systems including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workday, BambooHR, and others. We pull from thousands of sources to cover the broadest possible range of opportunities.

Analyze and Fingerprint

Each listing is analyzed to extract structured data that is often missing or inconsistent across sources. We identify the tech stack, seniority level, remote policy, salary range, industry, and location. This fingerprint makes every job searchable by the criteria engineers actually care about.

Serve Instantly

Our search index is built for speed. Filtering across 77,000+ listings returns results in milliseconds. We use inverted indexes and a custom query engine written in Zig, deployed to bare-metal servers in three regions (US East, US West, and Europe) for low-latency access worldwide.

Data Sources

We source job listings from publicly available career pages and applicant tracking system feeds. Our crawlers monitor these sources continuously and update the index as new positions are posted and old ones are removed. We do not scrape content that is behind authentication or paywalls.

The platforms we currently index include Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Lever, BreezyHR, BambooHR, Recruitee, iCIMS, Personio, Keka, Freshteam, TeamTailor, Jobvite, Workable, and several others — 21 ATS platforms in total. If a company posts engineering roles publicly, there is a good chance we have them.
